Tide Rock shell vendor stand on bluff above a beach, Santa Monica Bay, circa 1920-1930
Description
View of a shell vendor stand enclosed by a rustic picket fence, located on a bluff overlooking the beach. A man wearing a suit and hat is standing within the enclosure near the entrance gate. Shells are displayed in a canvas-covered stall and a low table on the left, with another small table, umbrella and canvas shade on the right against a tall mound of shrubbery. A sign on the mailbox reads "Tide Rock." A wire fence along the top of the bluff is visible beyond the shell stand., Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds.
