Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds., The heaviest rainstorm in a 24 hour period in the history of the local United States Weather Bureau dropped 8.27 inches of water on December 31, 1933 to January 1, 1934, resulting in flooding and landslides throughout Los Angeles., View of automobiles toppled by flood outside of the Bohemian Gardens nightclub on Mission Road, just north of the Los Angeles County General Hospital (at 1200 N.
