Handwritten on edge of nitrate negative: 2350 Banning [?], Text from nitrate negative sleeve: Bunker Hill, old homes, 1928. Bradbury - torn down 1929. 2346, 2347, 2348, 2349, 2350, 2351, 2352, 2353, View towards a Victorian house on an embankment elevated above the street level. The house has a square tower with a sign reading "Apartments" and a wrap around porch. The caption on the negative might refer to the residence of Mary Hollister Banning, located on Fort Moore Hill at W Cesar E Chavez Ave & N Hill Pl. In 1887 Banning purchased a beer garden at from Jacob Philippi and converted the complex into her home, Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds.
