Hamilton is wearing a gown with a dark bodice and an underblouse with a chiffon (probably) ruffle down the front by Adrian of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer-Studios., Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds., Adrian (Adolph Greenberg), an American costume designer during the 1930s and 1940s, designed costumes for over 250 films.
